Commas: 13 Rules (Simplified)

I know, the comma can seem scary. When in doubt, leave them out! Sort of.There are rules to commas, and they are not that bad. Here are the thirteen you must know.

1. Items in a series (listing)

Use a comma after every item in a series.
Example: Susie was busy today washing dishes, cleaning the house, and folding laundry.
